When I visited the Nairobi slum of Kibera with CARE Kenya, they introduced me to some great people who run an organization called Hands of Love. In addition to a high school, they run a computer school and tailoring school to teach skills to young people who can't go on with their education past the 8th grade. They also have a resource room/library for kids in the neighborhood. They need ANY books you may want to send that would be appropriate for 8 - 14 year olds. They're also be grateful for any fabric that the tailoring students could use. Here's their mailing address address:
